در تمام این سال ها که خانم شبنم قلی خانی به شهرت رسیده، هیچ وقت به همراه همسرش حاضر به گفتگو و عکاسی نشده است. می گوید رضا (همسرش) تمایلی به انجام این کار نداشته و ترجیح می داده جلوی دوربین آفتابی نشود اما حالا و بعد از گذشت 6 سال از ازدواجشان، زمانی که دو هفته ای برای دیدن خانواده هایشان به ایران آمدند, یک عکس یادگاری که در استرالیا گرفته بودند، در اختیار ما گذاشتند.
